Long green summer days
Turn yellow, red, gold, and brown
Frost this morning

Sandhill cranes feeding
Fill a field along the highway
Soon take flight and leave

Young wolf surprises me
Willows hide me, hide him, too
Dissolves into leaves

Birch, Aspen, Spruce, Alder
Separate silty river
And termination dust
